We capture the hidden wonders of nature

- particularly the small and the slow -

Filmed and grown in-house in the heart of Bristol, our work reveals the unseen rhythms of plants, fungi, and ice using 6K Cameras and bespoke equipment designed for CONTROLLED GROWTH and PRECISION FILMING.

TIMELAPSE

We focus on documenting slow natural processes such as plant growth, fungal development, and freezing. Using 6K cameras and custom-built control systems, we achieve precise, repeatable results over long periods. Recent work has expanded into combining timelapse and real-time techniques within a single continuous shot, opening up new storytelling possibilities in natural history filmmaking.

MACRO

Our macro work captures the fine detail of small-scale subjects including insects, plants, and fungi. With experience in insect care and habitat design, we create naturalistic studio environments that encourage authentic behavior. Using controlled lighting and slow-motion capture, we record sharp, high-quality footage that reveals intricate biological behaviours and spectacles.

CLIMATE CONTROL

Our studio environment is fully climate controlled, allowing complete regulation of light, temperature, and humidity. This enables us to maintain ideal growing conditions for plants and fungi, and to recreate specific natural environments with precision. The result is a reliable, adaptable space where complex biological processes can be filmed under automatically managed conditions.

MOTION CONTROL

We use programmable motion control rigs to introduce precision and dynamic movement into both timelapse and real-time sequences. These systems enable smooth, repeatable camera paths and coordinated multi-axis control. By integrating motion with time-based capture, we craft seamless, visually engaging sequences that bring natural processes to life with accuracy and depth.
